Our sweet little one went to be with Jesus. I'm very sad that I will never meet her/him. I miss out on the earthly part of knowing this little creation, but I JOY in knowing that I won't miss out on an eternity of laughter, and kisses, and singing, and dancing, and knowing that this child is PERFECT...already. I hurt in my heart, but I will heal and I will praise Him for knowing me.
I have chosen to give this child a name. I need to have something that I can call her other than 'it' or 'the baby.' I know it doesn't matter, that God had a name for her before time began, but here's my try at it. We chose GiLana. It comes from a Hebrew word that means ETERNAL JOY. Paul likes Lana. Though it doesn't really matter if she is really a girl or not, we went with our feeling. We know and she is really just a precious soul to Jesus anyway. I suppose if my little heavenly baby is really offended she can have the angels call her/him Lane. ;)
I'm blessed by these words that GiLana is realizing today...and forever.
"I will arise.
I will go to Jesus.
He will embrace me, in HIs arms.
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten Thousand charms."

"FOr you created me in my inmost being. You knit me together in my mommy's womb.
I PRAISE you because I was fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well!
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When woven together in the depths, Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:13-16
I love you my sweet GiLana. We can't wait to meet you again someday in heaven and hold you and kiss you. Time is long for us but short for you. We'll be there soon to experience what you are experiencing now: ETERNAL JOY!
